Course Details:

This HWSS course is aimed at experienced plumbing and heating operatives who require qualification in the installation, servicing and maintenance of domestic hot water systems. The course is designed to ensure operatives are aware of the importance of working in compliance with Approved Document G (ADG) 2016. Training includes the requirements for installation of G3 Unvented Hot Water Systems with a capacity of up to 500 Litres.

The HWSS certificate is recognised by Competent Person schemes (CPS) and
Microgeneration Certification scheme (MCS).

Pre Requisites:

Candidates must hold an industry recognised certificate of competence in gas, oil or solid fuel. Alternatively, an NVQ Level 2 plumbing or equivalent qualification or experience.
